MUSIC FOR ALL GENERATIONS

Gunpowder Soup continuously monitors the dance floor in order to keep the dance floor packed.  From years of experience, we know how to pick the right song for each event and work with the client’s custom song list and guest’s request.  We are the leader in engaging people off the dance floor and enticing them to sing along on the mic.  We have been entertaining this way since 1999 and our style cannot be duplicated by other bands.

PACK THE DANCE FLOOR

Gunpowder Soup employees THREE lead vocalists! A female performer will entertains you with powerful vocals and dance moves, while one of our male vocalist will have you thinking sawdust dancehall and Motown. Our GRAMMY Award Winning male vocalist will ask guests to help him sing lead on fun “sing along songs” and Classic Rock.

EVERY EVENT IS DIFFERENT

Whether the event is a small intimate wedding, large wedding with 300 guests dancing all over the ballroom, convention with families, corporate gala with 80% men, or a large fundraiser with live auction, we treat each job according to specifications and hand pick the songs for success on the dance floor.  The songs Gunpowder Soups performs for each function is chosen based on attendees and client’s request.

"If you're looking for a truly talented band who will make ALL of your guests get up and dance, sing, even play instruments - THIS IS YOUR BAND! They are extremely well-organized, and professional during the contract phase - I didn't have to worry at all about the logistics and setup on the day of my wedding. And each musician is amazingly talented in performing, singing, etc. Our guests are still coming to my husband and I telling us how amazing this band was and how our wedding was the most fun they have had. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!"  Jabil - Austin
"Gun Powder Soup hands down made our wedding the most fun event ever! The music and their involvement with guests cant' be measured. They kept everyone dancing, singing and slapping tambourines to the music. We will be hiring Gun Powder Soup again the next fun event we can get pulled together!! They also went above and beyond to help me surprise my husband with a special song that I wrote. Thank you GUN POWDER SOUP!! " Brittany and Ken E - Horseshoe Bay
