Forest Club Wedding Party

Under a clear tent with propane heaters and cold dark night, the wedding party was hot and ready to party. 250 guests were crowded under the tent and club house. The Forest Country Club in Houston was extended by a huge tent where the ceremony took place in front of the stage with candles, large flower displays, and lovely drapes. After the ceremony, Gunpowder Soup had the dance floor hopping and the fun started off with the bride and father dance. The dance was Sweet Caroline, hence the bride's name was Caroline, and the wedding party surrounded the dance couple singing the song as we all know it! What a way to start the party!

Gunpowder Soup decided to drive back that night due to the massive winter storm coming into Texas. We did not want to be stuck in a hotel for three days and it was already sleeting on the band while we loaded out. The drive was treacherous and the band got back into San Antonio at 6:30am just in time before the snow storm. We go the extra mile so that our contract with the client is fulfilled. Being a professional top tier wedding band is hard business and we work hard to earn everyone's business.
